My class and I went to the North Gardens at Lake Wendouree to do our cross country on the 3rd of May.
We have four teams: Lalor, Sturt, Gillies and Eureka.
First the 8 year old girls went, Taylor came first with Melanie behind in the 8 year old girls and they ran 1 lap.
The 8 year old boys came next, Callum came first with Tom behind him.
We had the 9 year old girls next, Maddy came first with Samantha behind her.
Then it was the 9 year old boys, Mitchell came first with Bailey behind him and they also ran 1 lap.
Next we had the 10 year old girls and Eliza came first with Gemma behind her.
Then it was the 10 year old boys Jesse came first with Billy behind him and they did 1 lap as well and the top time in the 1 lap was 7:02
Then we had 11 year old girls, Victoria came first with Emily behind her.
Next were the 11 year old boys Brayden came first with Jacob behind him and they ran 2 laps.
We had the 12 year old girls next and Naomi came first and Emily second.
Then last but not least we had the 12 year old boys, Lachlan came first with Todd behind him and they did 2 laps as well and the top time for the 2 laps was 13:27 minutes.
The next Monday it was announced that Eureka came first in the cross country. Yay! Eureka shouted.
Everyone did the best they could and they also had fun too.
