Re@ct Film Project

By Hannah and Carlie 6M

Our school has entered a film project with each of our Grade 6 classes to produce a 3 minute film to be shown at a film festival in November. As a part of the training students from each class have to attend a series of workshops to help them learn about different aspects of film making.

Session 1

On Wednesday the 12th of July the first group of students from grade 6 went to the film workshop at Saxon House to start learning pre-production skills to prepare to make a film.

Confucius say if you look like you're thinking you  might get an A.

If we look like we're working we might get more brownie points.

Filming (Update by Chanelle)

All three Grade 6 classes have been making a film.

When we set up it takes a while because we have to:

1.   Select a location

2.   Set up the camera and the other equipment

3. Put the actors in place

When we make a film we need a director, producer, cameraman, lighting operator, sound person, actors, actresses and voice talent.
