5th of August 2006 the Dinner Dance took place in the Hall. Parents and Teachers were welcome to come along if they had a table booked or sitting on a friends table. The hall was full of cheerful, joyful adults. The theme was tropical and Mr Westaway made an entry with his colourful Hawaiian t-shirt. Hamish and his band performed, pumping up the evening.

Bamboo trees and tropical drinks made the night seem more tropical.

Ladies dressed in colourful dresses and men were well a tiny little dressed up.  Dancing around and chatting all night long, teacher’s and parents had a blast. Dinner was served and the dancing and chatting went on.

The hall was lit up with lights and decorative scenes. Photos were taken by Mr Westaway with his happy personality. (I normally use a camera - Mr W.) Teachers got a chance to catch up with the parents of their students.

Unfortunately the teachers had to come back to school on the Monday and teach students. Kids missed out on this magical night but loved seeing their parent’s photos.
