Day 1

Travelling Day 1

On Monday the 11th of October we left school and started our trip to Canberra. All of the children in grade six and their sleepy parents met at APS at 7am or earlier, then they gave any of their medication to Mrs. Mac or Mrs. Anders. There were two buses, bus A and bus B. I was on bus A. At 7:15 we waved goodbye to our parents and left for Canberra. On our bus for the first hour or so we talked or slept. Mr Martin was in front of Chloe and I, so we took heaps of photos of him sleeping. When we got to Melbourne we put a movie on and watched it for about 60 minutes then we stopped at Euroa for a break. We stayed there for about 20 minutes so we could have a play and so the Cappuccino Club (Jane Diamond, Sue Romey, Gay Holdsworth, Barb Anders, Yvonne MacIntosh) could have their coffees. When we got back on the bus we watched the end of the movie. On our way to Albury we drove past Ned Kelly’s statue in Glenrowan. When we got to Albury we had lunch then after a little run around we got back on the bus and watched another movie. For our last stop we stopped at the Dog on the Tuckerbox and bought some souvenirs. Then we got back on the bus watched the end of the movie then we were in Canberra.
