Canberra Camp

On Monday the 11th of October we left school and started our trip to Canberra. All of the children in grade six and their sleepy parents met at APS at 7am or earlier. At 7:15 we waved goodbye to our parents and left for Canberra. We had been looking forward to this trip for months, completing assignments on Australian Government and how Canberra was planned. We drove through Melbourne and up to Euroa for morning tea. Then we drove to Albury for lunch, making a quick detour to view the statue of Ned Kelly in Glenrowan. The Dog on the Tucker Box near Gundagai was our final pit stop before arriving at the Gold Creek Tourist Resort, our home away from home.

Thanks to Mr Lucas and Grade 6W for their work in compiling these pages.
