ARCH OF VICTORY

(To read the captions, place the arrow over the picture.)

On September 11th, 2002, all the Grade 6 students (and the grade 5’s from Mrs Healy’s class) walked to the War Memorial near the Arch of Victory to show our support for peace by making and placing a thousand paper cranes on the War Memorial. (We also sent 1000 cranes to Hiroshima before August 6 for Peace Day.)

The Courier came and took some pictures of us putting the cranes by the War Memorial. We also had a minute of silence. It was an enjoyable trip had by all.
